Goat Yoga Fort Myers | Dim Jandy Ranch Experience

Brad, Jen, Nick and Josie Buffington

We bought this property in 2019 with a vision.  Dim Jandy is an icon in our lives and it was fitting that we would later name our ranch after him.   You will find him smiling brightly to greet you every time you arrive.  He reminds us not to take life too serious.

 jim-dan·dy | \ ˈjim-ˈdan-dē  \Definition of jim-dandy: something excellent of its kind.

We are a small but beautiful ranch, different from most.  We love our ranch and every soul that inhabits it’s property.  We share this excellent experience with you by means of offering goat yoga with awesome teachers.

If you're looking for yoga in Fort Myers Beach or the unique yoga with Bird, whose real name is Jandy, we invite you to join us and experience the joy we find here.

Every path I have ventured onto with an open heart has indeed led me to yoga. I have practiced yoga asana (postures) for nearly 20 years, with a more consistent focus over the last five years as the spiritual roots and emotional benefits continue to take hold and transform me. Yoga, for me, especially through my experiences with Jandy at Yoga Bird in Fort Myers, FL, has become much more than a superficial sculptor; it has given me peace. This manifestation of peace allows me to see everything in a new light, through new eyes. With this, I have more compassion for others, and especially for myself. For me, yoga has become a direct path to a purpose filled with passion, empathy, and love. I work as a physical therapy assistant, which gives me a firm foundation for alignment instruction and safety with movement. One part of my profession that I have always loved is educating others, a passion which folds into the fabric of yoga education. In the past, I lived life as if it were a battle to be conquered, treating my body and heart as a prisoner. As the yoga path unfolds for me, I am learning to treat myself with integrity and respect. The more I study the philosophies and principles of yoga, the deeper it carries me on the pathway to compassion. I embarked on yoga teacher training not only to deepen my own practice but in the hopes of bringing the gifts I have begun to experience to those, like me, who have wandered off the beaten path. We all have our own journey, but I believe to the depths of my spirit that the practice of yoga can help smooth the trail, especially for those seeking yoga in Fort Myers Beach. Namaste.

Liz Cuveron

My name is Kali Cage, I'm 25 years old and have been teaching yoga at Dim Jandy since 2021. I grew up doing yoga with my mom, who also teaches yoga in Fort Myers Beach. I love animals and being outside, and I'm so happy to share both my passions with the guests at the ranch, where we embrace the spirit of yoga with Bird, my real name, and connect with nature.

When she walked into a local studio, she discovered like-minded individuals who appreciated yoga as more than just postures. This was particularly true at Yoga Bird in Fort Myers, FL, where she completed her RYT 200 certification. The focus on the breath and the importance of not taking oneself too seriously became the most significant parts of her practice. In 2022, she began teaching at Dim Jandy, sharing her passion for yoga in Fort Myers Beach. When she isn’t on the mat, Liz is a stay-at-home mom and a former teacher, living life to the fullest.

I started my yoga journey almost 20 years ago. I completed my first teacher training in Hawaii in 2011 and then began traveling back and forth from Honolulu to India to study Ashtanga yoga for several years. After settling in California and leading classes and programs for almost a decade, my whole family packed up and moved to beautiful Fort Myers, Florida. Yoga has always been an important grounding part of my adult life. It’s an amazing way to quiet the mind and free your body. Combining yoga with the pure spirit of these precious goats makes total sense as you are completely brought inward to focus on the present moment. Here in Fort Myers, I also explore yoga in Fort Myers Beach, and I love sharing my experiences online, often mentioning Jandy, who is known for yoga with bird real name. It’s been a fulfilling journey that continues to evolve.
